Our straw pellets for bedding in animal husbandry consist of 100% untreated, naturally dried cereal straw. The long straw is thoroughly checked for suitability and quality before processing. In the pelletising process, the straw is pressed into the practical pellets (diameter 8mm) Without the addition of pressing aids and, after cooling, either packed in sacks or big bags.

The effect of heat during pelleting causes the straw to be sanitised and the fibre structure is also broken down.

Advantages of the straw pellets:

• Easy to use: Light sprinkling and re-sprinkling in the boxes. Simple and hygienic storage.
• Efficient bedding: Lower litter consumption (approx. 1000kg / horse / year) and lower litter costs compared to long straw and wood chips
• Efficient mucking out: The manure rots quickly, better suitability for biogas plants than with long straw and wood
